每年四月的第三个星期六，美国超过700间独立唱片店，以及全球范围内的上千家唱片店聚集一心，为激励唱片文化发展。举行出版，演艺等各式活动庆祝。由此就有了自己的节日“国际唱片店日”（record store day ）
黑胶唱片作为一种声音和音乐的载体几乎占据了整个20世纪。而在这个“唱片已死”的年代，黑胶唱片无疑成为了复古文化的珍藏品。它们已成为既复古又新潮的事物，这种复古、精致、充满故事感的黑胶唱片在这个冰冷的数字时代宣布逆袭的时刻已经到来。
